The 24Bay Expansion Unit is designed to provide storage expansion for your FlashStation drives. It can also be used as a dedicated, fast-access local backup destination. All 24 drive bays support native 2.5-inch SAS hard drives and solid-state drives, as well as SATA solid-state drives, including the SAT5200 SATA SSD. The drives are hot-swappable, and connectivity is provided using one SAS input and one SAS output.
