The world-building was rich and immersive, the characters felt real and complex, and the plot was filled with just the right balance of magic, mystery, heart-pounding action, and romance. What really stood out to me was the author's ability to create a universe that felt both fantasy and real. The magical system was intriguing (which was refreshing), the plot was deep without being overwhelming, and the emotional rollercoaster of the characters added so much depth (and heartbreak).
