• Installation: Plug the cord into any live 120-volt AC outlet. Attach the female connector to the plug of the appliance to be monitored. Please Note: If the appliance plug is disconnected from the cord, the alarm will not sound. It will sound only if power fails to reach the cord.
• Testing and Operation: After the cord has been plugged into an AC outlet for 24 hours to obtain a full charge, simply disconnect the cord from the AC outlet. The alarm should sound. Make certain that the switch is in the “alarm on” position.
